Monday Group: Ruins, snow, glass, monochrome
This week we split into three activities - some started on their RUINS project, one continued with their snow picture, whilst the majority started an exercise in yellow monochrome washes (known affectionately as the custard painting!). And some brought in their glass paintings for review. Here are the results so far. Next week we will see, amongst other things, the metamorphosis of the custard paintings into a very colourful painting. Whilst the ruins paintings will turn gradually into quite abstract exercises in a range of techniques to suggest texture and surface.
