Still Life Reviews
This week we reviewed our still life and colour project with remarkable results by all members of the group. Shown here are the paintings, each with a detail or two to highlight those wonderful breakthrough moments that every painting contains. It is incredibly important that a painter studies their own work, regardless of how they feel about the painting, as every painting will contain aspects that they can learn from for subsequent paintings. By seeing each other's details as in this blog, we can also learn from each other's moments. Also shown below are some paintings that have been done at home in addition to the main project. We now start our next major project which focuses on perspective, different types, approaches and subjects. The first picture below is from our new project.
