Seeing is often in the detail...

Here are the images from this week's projects including a detail of each painting in progress. The details show the qualities that make watercolour painting so distinctive and yet so varied. Sometimes a detail helps us to see where the painting can go, sometimes it helps us to appreciate how we have captured the subject well, and sometimes it helps us to to reflect and take confidence in our own ability even when we feel we are still learning the basics. Great progress is being made by the group.
