Week 8 Tuesday Group
Like the Monday group we started on our final family portraits project tonight. Over three weeks we will use our own research to create a personal narrative that is not too literal in terms of the visual and story. No images from tonight as we focused on the story processes and designs. Meanwhile here are some images from the previous project and work down at home:
Week 8 Monday Group
We started our final project of term. A complex yet exciting project exploring something about our family. We are looking at how artists create narratives using objects, symbolism, meaning. Well here goes anyway! Some early images at the ideas stage:

My Goals pilot form
We are trying to find new ways to make the paperwork required by the funders of our courses and OfSTED as useful as possible. One of these is the form where we set our own learning aims or goals on our courses as learners.
A big thanks to those who have already had a go using the pilot form. For those who have not yet tried it please do have a go and let your tutor see how you got on. Also if you can give your tutor some comments, positive and negative, about the new form that would be great.
Click on the picture below to download the form so you can either type in on your computer or print off and complete by hand. Then bring it with you to your next class or email it to Bernard.

Week 6 Tuesday Group
Our Tuesday group started their new Other Cultures project tonight. A good range in the choices of cultural references: medieval Islamic art, north American native art, ancient Celtic art, Indian sub continent festival (with elephant dressing). oh yes and a cat. Here are the first stages:
