We're back!

It's a new term and we are back! Thirteen brave souls - some new some from last term all raring to go. Here are this weeks pictures. A full image is accompanied with a detail taken from the full painting to reveal some of the learning that has been achieved.  Often it is in a detail that we really can appreciate the skills that are being developed.  Below we can see some excellent observation and use of watercolour washes plus a healthy variety of brushwork.

Final project - free choice

This is our penultimate week of this course - time flies we all say - where did the 10 weeks go! Below are the beginnings of the new and final project which is a free choice of subject. We also looked at a resist method using masking fluid and some are applying this to the final project paintings. There are also one or two paintings below which are carried over from last time.
